The farm is located on the banks of the Clinch River in Dungannon, Virginia. The farm has ten varieties of Lavender and plans have been made to add different varieties each year. All of the Lavender is grown organically. They also grow eight varieties of rose scented geraniums. Any herb that is grown at Scott County Lavender, will be a compliment to the lavender oil when it is distilled into essential oil and hydrosol. The lavender is dried and distilled in the old tobacco barn. Scott County Lavender has developed a line of products made with the Lavender grown on the farm.
